What is Pop Culture Wasteland?

We are part of the Gen X and Millennial generation, specifically the Xennial generation, so the best of both worlds if you ask us. We grew up during a time when pop culture felt fun, weird, and unforgettable.

While nostalgia can be a trap for some, we like to look back with smiles and laughter. Remembering what we had and sure, missing it sometimes, but mostly being grateful we were there. Our goal is to share small, meaningful pieces of that time with others who remember it the same way.

What is your refund and exchange policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Because all items are made to order, returns or exchanges are not available for:

  • Ordering the wrong size, color, or item

  • Changing your mind after purchase

Please double check size charts before ordering. If an item is missing one, or if you are even slightly unsure about fit, contact us before purchasing and we will help confirm.

Color Disclaimer:
Shirt colors may appear slightly lighter or darker depending on the manufacturer and screen settings.

Print Placement:
There is a tolerance of up to 0.5 inches for print placement. Minor variations are normal and are not considered defects.

Shipping issues

Refunds cannot be offered for delays once a package is in the carrier’s hands or if an incorrect address was provided at checkout.

Lost packages will be replaced or refunded after verification with the shipping carrier.

For time sensitive items, we strongly recommend choosing the fastest shipping option available at checkout.

Order cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 4 hours of purchase. Because items go into production quickly, we cannot guarantee cancellation requests made after this time window.

Damaged or defective items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include a clear photo of the issue. We will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom or personalized items, including requests for specific print placements, custom text, or color adjustments, are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Will you create a custom order?

ABSOLUTELY!!

We LOVE creating custom pieces for customers. Have an image from something long forgotten in your childhood that you would love to see on a shirt, as a picture, on a coffee mug, or nearly anything else? Get in touch. We live for that.

How long does it take to make and ship my order?

(Why is it not as quick as Amazon?)

Every item is made to order. Most orders ship within 48 to 72 hours, though during high volume times of the year there may be a slight delay. Tracking information is sent as soon as your order ships.

How do I choose the right size?

Each product includes a sizing chart based on the exact garment used. We recommend comparing the chart to your own measurements to ensure the most accurate fit.

What kind of shirts do you use?

We work with a variety of trusted manufacturers, and each product listing clearly shows the specific garment used.

See a design you love but want it on a different shirt style? Let us know and we will do what we can to match your request.

How should I care for my items?

Care instructions are included in each product listing based on the specific garment. In general, we recommend:

  • Washing inside out in cold water

  • Tumble drying low or hang drying

  • Avoiding direct heat on printed areas

Following these guidelines will help keep your item looking great over time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. If your country is not appearing at checkout for any reason, please contact us and we will help.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Because items are made to order and enter production quickly, changes must be requested within 4 hours of purchase. After that point, orders are processed and shipped as placed.
